SID Greater Dayton Chapter (SIDDA) is a non-profit organization whose purposes are:

To encourage scientific, literary, educational advancement of information display and its allied arts and sciences including hardware, software, human performance, and system engineering.

To provide forums for exchange & dissemination of ideas and to promulgate standards & definitions.

SIDDA focus is on ubiquitous information technologies (IT) for civil, avionics, and military visualization applications in a wired world.

News:  On October 26, 2007 the new chapter bylaws for SIDDA were approved by the SID Bylaws Committee. 

Three KSU Student Branch members attended the 18 Oct 07 SIDDA meeting in Dayton to request chapter speakers for Branch meetings, company tours, and $100 for a best paper award; three potential speakers and a  company tour (to Barco) were arranged; the funding request was referred to a Nov 07 SIDDAEC meeting for consideration.  A joint Chapter-Branch meeting is planned this winter.  Group_photo   Meeting minutes
